Red was an assistant Scout leader, who accompanied his father, "Pop" Lawyer and, in turn, was frequently accompanied by his own young sons on our camping trips. These photos were taken during a Boy Scout Camporee during the spring of 1965 in Jackson Valley (just across the road from where I lived). The first photo is my favorite -- Pop and Red, father and son, having breakfast.
