Dorothy Perry Beck, 92, of Belvidere, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at St. Luke's Hospital in Phillipsburg, New Jersey on July 21, 2022. Dorothy was born on November 1, 1929 in Lowell, Massachusetts to the late John Sr. and Lillian (Beland) Perry. She married Robert T. Beck on January 28, 1956. "Dot" was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud Nan of 15 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, sister, aunt, and friend to everyone she met. She always had a knack for making people feel special and loved. Her family was the joy of her life. She was the past co-founder of the Country View Social Club, a member of the Rosary Altar Society and Ladies Sodality at St. Patrick's in Belvidere, and a faithful volunteer to many organizations. She enjoyed making memories with family and friends, traveling, dressing up in costumes for any reason, and watching the Hallmark channel and cooking shows. Dot also enjoyed spending time down at the beach. In addition to her caring husband of 66 years, Dot is survived by her loving daughters, Donna (Scott) Madison, Robbin (Richard) Surmaitis, Kimberly (Leon) Mares, Barbara (Scott) Thomas, and son-in-law David Holeman, as well as her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, and friends. The family would like to recognize the loving care and compassion Dot received at Complete Care and St. Luke's, especially the ICU staff where Dot spent her last days. Dot was predeceased by her parents, brother; John Perry, Jr., daughter; Sandra Holeman, and granddaughter; Chioma Holeman. Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday, July 28, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Avenue, Washington, New Jersey, 07882.
