Dot always said she was the luckiest person in the world, but, in fact the lucky ones were those who came in contact with her. She exuded such warmth and joy that you wanted to be her friend. Since we don't get to choose our siblings, I was fortunate to get the best "big sister" anyone could have. Your spiritual bags have been packed and God's bus has picked you up, Dot. When you organize your next "dress up" event or beach party, save a place for your loving brother, Ray.

Auntie Dot was an absolute treasure in this world. She lived big and loved even bigger. She was there for every important moment or accomplishment in all our lives and she was there for the darkest times too. She was a beacon of strength but warm and empathetic. She was also there for the every day moments and enjoyed them to the fullest. If she was having a beautiful moment and sitting at a table she very well could start playing the air piano. If it was a beautiful moment in nature she would wish she had her watercolors;)If she saw an airplane in the sky she was in wonder where it was going and was excited for the adventure of the people she never knew. She also could sit patiently on bench and watch people for hours. She would make elaborate stories of their lives that she imagined they lived. Her stories would become so intricate that you’d often forget that she never knew these people. She loved and cared for all. Her loss is tremendous But her generous and loving spirit continues in all that she loved. We will hear your laugh forever, Leah MacPherson
