I unfortunately did not have the pleasure of knowing Chris for very long, but it was immediately apparent how much of a positive impact he had on everyone who did. Chris was a massive supporter of Milwaukee Tool, and all the employees he dealt with over the years. He will be greatly missed.

Our thoughts and prays are for you in a time that you were not prepared for. Your family's loss is unmeasurable to us in this life. God had a plan and we seek comfort in our faith. Christopher gave all he had to this life and he will be with you always. We are giving a contribution to the fund stated in his honor. In the hardest of times, I remember the image of "foot prints in the sand". May GOD comfort you. I wish to give you my hugs and some day soon we will again. I am with you in my prays.

We are so very sorry to hear of Chris passing. When something like this happens all the memories come flooding back. I was Chris’s Pop Warner Football coach for a few years. Chris always gave his all and would play any position
I needed him to fill. He was a very coachable young man. I always felt like Chris was another one of my kids.
Later on we would run into each other on jobs where we
would catch up on life, laugh and reminisce.
Rest In Peace Chris! The Dante Family

I REMEMBER WHEN CHRIS DRESSED AS A BALLET DANCER IN HIGH SCHOOL AND IT MADE US LAUGH. CHRIS (HAMBONE WE NICK NAMED HIM IN SCHOOL) WAS ALWAYS THE GUY TO MAKE YOU LAUGH AND GO OUT OF HIS WAY TO HELP OTHERS. WE JUST RECENTLY TALKED IN SHOPRITE AROUND CHRISTMAS AND WE HAD A GOOD LAUGH TOGETHER ABOUT HOW WE ARE BOTH LOSING OUR HAIR. HE WAS ONE OF THE GOOD GUYS. WE LOST OUR FRIEND.

What can I say, I loved the the man. I met him as an apprentice and we work together for years. Chris was carefree and always fun to be around, he and his brother-in-law Tom spent many a day fishing on my boat. Chris and few volunteers from local 24 helped me clean out my home after flooding from super storm Sandy, it was an uplifting experience in my time of need. Chris recently called with news of his promotion to business manager and to thank me for some tutelage, that was the kind of guy he was. My heart goes out to his family, we are all better people for having known him. Joseph Vinegra

Dear Hamler Family,
The entire George family send our deepest sympathy, our thoughts and prayers are with each and every one of you.
Chris was very special to our family. The years our families spent together on School Street were truly special times that will never be forgotten. Chris was generous, kind hearted and always there for us to help in every way he possible could. Without even being asked, he would always go the extra mile for us. We will always treasure our backyard bon fires, sitting in the street to slow the cars down so our kids could ride their bikes and Chris’ contagious smile. There are so many memories that we just look back on and smile. He had a way of making any situation better with his humor.
Chris will forever be appreciated and missed.
Walter, Gloria and the entire George Family

I'm so sorry for your loss. I was just speechless when I heard. I attached a picture of Chris, Anthony and Mike when they coached the Blue Devils together. They were a force to be reckoned with. Cannot believe they are together again. We had so many memorable times. Mike loved when we got together with the baseball family and the band would play. I've known Chris since high school, what a great guy!!! Kristin and kids, my heart breaks for you all that you are experiencing what myself and my kids experienced less than a year ago. Fly high Chris, hope Mike and Anthony are waiting for you!!

My deepest heart-felt sympathies go out to the Hamler family. When someone enters into the teaching and coaching profession the greatest rewards they receive are watching their students grow. Hopefully, they become productive citizens and continue to grow in a positive manner. The Hamler family has much to be proud of. Having the opportunity to teach and coach Chris was a blessing, he always made me laugh and made the environment he was in an enjoyable experience. He truly was blessed with a great personality, one that enabled him to “lighten up” a situation and somehow stay on task to accomplish whatever he was involved in.
I wish I could put into words how much I really appreciate that I had the opportunity to coach him, but words really can’t explain my feelings.
I know this is a very difficult time for the Hamler family, we have lost an outstanding individual much sooner than expected. I have been told that God has a plan for us all. Sometimes these plans are very hard to understand and accept. The only explanation I can offer is that Chris will be somewhere else, making that environment a better situation. I hope someday I will be in his presence again.
God Bless the entire Hamler family! Chris made us all very proud. He will surely be missed.

Chris was a true Union Brother and friend. He will truly be missed.
