Obituary of Erin Colleen VanNote

Erin Colleen Van Note, 31, formerly of Washington, NJ left this earth on October 11, 2019 in Allentown, PA. 

Erin was born on February 27, 1988 in Livingston, NJ to the late William Van Note and Colleen Schiller of Washington, NJ.

Erin was a 2006 graduate of Warren Hills High School.  Previous to high school Erin participated in the Washington Township Youth Association Sports Programs in Basketball, Soccer, and Softball. Erin was a talented artist who enjoyed drawing, singing, music, and poetry and being with her family. She enjoyed the outdoors, nature and cooking. She was a kind, compassionate and free soul who would light up any room with her smile, her laughter, and her vibrant personality. Erin loved her family, her friends, and her NA Fellowship.

Erin is survived by her young son Talon Van Note, whom she adored. Erin is also survived by her mother and stepfather Colleen and Dennis Schiller, her sister Kelly Van Note and Ben Szper, her brother Keenan Van Note and Ashley Capite, her brother Evan Van Note and his wife Kristen, her  loving nieces Shawnnessy Van Note, Lily Van Note, and  her nephew Brenden Szper. Erin is also survived by her boyfriend Bradley Hughes with whom she found much happiness and peace.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday October 16, 2019 from 4-8 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. A Mass of Catholic Burial will be celebrated on Thursday October 17, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the  Immaculate Conception Church, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale NJ 08801. Burial will be at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations may be made to Erin’s young son Talon Van Note  C/O the Warren Hills Memorial Home. Donations made by check can be made payable to Talon Van Note and mail to Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W.Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882.  

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home.
