Obituary of Anthony J Milkowski

Anthony J. Milkowski, 72, of Stewartsville, NJ passed away peacefully on February 23, 2019 at the Lyons Veterans Hospital. Anthony was born on April 29, 1946 in Phillipsburg, NJ to the late Anthony S. and Louise Milkowski. Anthony grew up in Glen Gardner, NJ. He graduated from North Hunterdon Regional high school class of 1964. He served proudly in the US Army in the 101st Airborne Division Screaming Eagles during the Vietnam War. He received the Combat Infantry Badge, Vietnam Service Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. Anthony was employed as a signalmen with NJ Transit in Raritan, NJ. He was a member of the VFW Post 5119 in Glen Gardner. He was a life member of the NRA. He enjoyed Hunting, fishing and everything about the outdoors. Anthony also enjoyed repairing and racing antique cars. He is survived by his loving daughters, Toni Lynn Grello and Rhonda Fellker. Sisters, Janet Stickel and her husband Richard, Joan Wilson and her husband Dan and Joyce Albarran. Brothers, Ronald Milkowski and his wife Sandra and Gary Milkowski and his wife Rose. Stepchildren, Lisa Finnigan and Chuck Barton. 5 grandchildren. 3 step-grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Anthony was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Cheryl A. Milkowski. Family and friend may pay their respects on Tuesday February 26, 2019 from 6-8 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. Graveside services will be celebrated on Thursday February 28, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Stewartsville Cemetery.
