Obituary of Joseph T. Grabowy

Joseph T. Grabowy, 75, of Glen Gardner, died on Feb. 17, 2013, at Hunterdon Medical Center. Joseph was born on Feb. 16, 1938 in Somerville, a son of Joseph and Mary Grabowy. He was an electrical contractor and work for many years at Ortho Diagnostics in Raritan. Dedicated to his country, he served in the Army. Joseph enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening. He was an avid fisherman. Joseph also held close to his heart his dog "Pepe." He will be sadly missed by all. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Margaret; three children, Joseph Jr., Michael and Teresa; three loving sisters, Debbie, Karen and Bernadette; and a brother, Richard; a cherished family friend, Catherine Fellin; and many dear nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Joseph is predeceased by his sister, Joan Tammara. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 11 a.m. at St. Ann's Church, 6 Church St., Hampton. Burial is in Musconetcong Valley Cemetery in Hampton. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington.
