Obituary of Theodore Cronce
Theodore "Nelson" Cronce, 83, of Alexandria Township, died Sunday, June 18, 2006 at Hunterdon Medical Center.
Born: On July 23, 1922 in Raritan Township, he was a son of the late Charles N. and Myrtle Williamson Cronce.
Personal: He and his wife, Jean, were married for 47 years.
A lifelong resident of Alexandria Township, Nelson was a dairy farmer for over 40 years in the Asbury area. He also worked for Ortho Pharmaceutical in Raritan, retiring in 1985. He graduated from Washington High School, Class of 1941. He loved small air craft, Studebakers, and John Deere Tractors.
Memberships: Nelson was a member of the Church of Christ, Washington, NJ. He was also a member of the Flying Farmers, the EAA, AOPA, and was a member of the Free Masons from the Hobart Lodge in High Bridge.
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Jean, he is survived by a son, Theodore C. & his wife Monique of Asbury, NJ; a daughter, Anne Marie Miller & her husband Brian of Phillipsburg, NJ; seven grandchildren, Bryan, Naomi, Craig, Donald, Amanda, C. Benjamin, and Ashley; and a great-grandchild, Austin.
A son, Christopher, and a brother, Warren, both died earlier.
Services: Visitation will be Sunday a half hour prior to the service, staring at 12:30 p.m. in the Warren Hills/Ford Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ. Funeral services will be Sunday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Cremation will be private. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Warren Hills/Ford Memorial Home, Washington, NJ.
