Obituary of Mary C. Fischer

Mary C. Fischer, 85, passed away peacefully February 16, 2009, at Warren Hospital. Born: March 21, 1923, in Jersey City, NJ, she was a daughter of the late William and Delora Miller. Personal: She was a resident of Phillipsburg, and previously lived in Hackettstown and Jersey City. Mary was an Administrative Assistant for Pipe Fitters Union Local 274, Jersey City, for 20 years before retiring in 1985. Mary Graduated Valedictorian from St. Michaels High School in Union City, Class of 1941. Memberships: Mary was a devout catholic and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Washington, Where she was a member of the senior club SURVIVORS: Her loving daughter Susan Solecitto of Washington; A sister Doris Thompson of Hartsdale, NY; two grandchildren Todd and Brad Solecitto. She was predeceased by her devoted husband Theodore, who passed in 2002, her son In-law John Solecitto in 2004, and a brother William Miller Services: Thursday February 19, 2009, 7 to 9 p.m. at the Warren Hills Memorial Home 234 West Washington Ave, Washington, NJ 07882 There will be a Mass of Christian Burial Friday February 20, 2009, 10 a.m. with Father Blaise Baran officiating, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, 200 Carlton Ave Washington, NJ 07882.
