Obituary of Iva Jean Underhill
Iva Jean Underhill, 78, of Washington, passed away peacefully at Warren Hospital on July 27, 2010.
Born: October 17, 1931 in East Stroudsburg, PA, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary Woolever.
Personal: She was a resident of Washington for 50 years, previously from Portland, PA.
Iva Jean retired as a savings and loan manager with the First National Bank in Washington.
She graduated from East Stroudsburg High School class of 1949.
Iva Jean enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
Memberships: She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors: Her loving children, two daughters, Bonnie M. Housman and her husband Robert of Colorado Springs, CO, Wanda C. Swift of Riegelsville, PA; a son, Ross H. Staples of Okatie, SC; two sister-In-Law's, Elaine Woolever and Doris Underhill and her husband Donald; two grandchildren, Douglas and Jody; two great-grandchildren, Bailey and Colin.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert on April 1, 1988 and a brother William G. Woolever.
Services: Visitation will be Monday August 2, 2010 , 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave., Washington, 07882. Services will be Tuesday August 3, 2010 , at 10 a.m. with Pastor James Scovell officiating, at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave., Washington, 07882. Burial in the Washington Cemetery.
