Obituary of Rena Rosati

Rena Rosati, 89, of Washington Borough, passed away peacefully at home on January 8, 2010. Born: March 7, 1920, in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Aldo and Quintina Tos. Personal: Her loving husband Elliott passed in 1989. Rena was a resident of Washington Borough since 1993.Previously she lived in Old Forge, PA. Rena was a homemaker. Rena loved to travel, as well as sewing and settling down with a good book. Memberships: Rena was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Washington, where she was also a member of the Altar Rosary Society and the social club. Survivors: She is survived by a son, Frank Rosati of Downingtown, PA; a daughter, Rosemarie Rosati and her husband Gary Pohorely, with whom she lived; also are her granddaughters, Jessica Piekos and Janine Pohorely. Services: Visitation will be Monday, January 11, 2010, at 9 a.m. at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral services will be Monday, January 11, 2010 at 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial with Fr. Blaise Baran officiating, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 200 Carlton Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. Burial at the Cathedral Catholic Cemetery, Scranton, PA. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions to the Catholic Charity of your choice.
