Obituary of Virginia Ross

Virginia "Claire" Ross 86, of Washington Twp. passed away peacefully at home on Thursday August 2, 2013. Born: Claire was born in Washington on January 15, 1927 to the late Jesse and Doris Harrison Personal: Claire was a lifelong resident of Washington, she graduated from Washington high school class of 1945. she attended Paine University in NYC. Claire worked as a medical assistant locally in Washington for many years. She later worked with her husband Hank as a secretary for the family business Garden State Roofing Co. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Memberships: Claire was a life member of the United Methodist Church in Washington. Survivors: her two daughters Cindy Fisher and her husband Christopher and Virginia Teisch; three grandchildren Megan Fisher, Courtney Spender and Jarrett Fisher; two great grandchildren Owen and Nathan. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Henry "Hank" Ross, a daughter Jessica Ross, a granddaughter Michaela Lee Fisher and a brother Jack Harrison. Services: Friends and family may call on Tuesday August 6, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave, Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday August 7, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the United Methodist Church of Washington, 116 East Washington Ave, Washington, NJ.
