Obituary of Elizabeth Nagy
Elizabeth Nagy, 88, of Washington died Friday, Dec. 22, 2006, at Hackettstown Hospital. Born July 12, 1918 in New Brunswick, she previously resided in Franklin, then Washington for seven years. She graduated from New Brunswick High School, class of 1936. She was a homemaker. She was a member of High Spirit St. Baptist Church in New Brunswick as well as a Sunday school teacher, the church organist and the choir director. She was very active with PTA and local school activities. Daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Olasz, she was predeceased by her loving husband, William, of 69 years. Surviving are two sons, Leroy and his wife, Beverly, of Effort, Pa. and Gary and his wife, Diane, of Washington; a brother, Edward Olasz, of Massachusetts, and eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Warren Hills/Ford Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave., Washington, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Washington Cemetery.
