Obituary of Margaret M. Maguire
Margaret M. Maguire, 64, of Washington, formerly of Old Bridge, Bethleham Township, NJ and Edgewater, Florida, died Saturday, January 17, 2004, in her home with her family by her side.
Born: May 17, 1939 in New York, NY, a daughter of Margaret J. Parusa McGrantham of SC, and the late Frederick C. McGrantham.
Personal: She and her husband, Richard L. Sr. were married for 40 years. She owned and operated Maggie's Ceramics in Old Bridge, for 25 years, retiring in 1999. She was a very talented porcelain doll maker, selling nation wide. She enjoyed oil painting and crafts and she loved to cook. She was of catholic faith.
Memberships: She was a member of the Woman's club, and the Garden Club in Edgewater Landing, Florida.
Survivors: Her husband; a daughter, Donna M. Lane of SC; four sons, Thomas P. Lane and his wife, Lisa, of East Brunswick, Martin R. Lane and his wife, Vicki, of Harmony, RIchard L. Jr. and his wife, Denise, of Washington, and Christian and his wife, Tara, of Phillipsburg; her mother; four brothers, Frederick C. McGrantham of Millville, Philip N. McGrantham of Little Falls, and Steven McGrantham of Nev.; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. A brother, Richard, died in 2002.
Services: A 2 p.m. Memorial Service will be held Saturday in the Warren Hills/Ford Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Avenue, Washington, with Reverend Robert Alscolese officiating. Cal 12 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Cremation will take place in the H.G. Smith Crematory in Stroudsburg.
