Obituary of Katherine Bowman
Katherine "Betty" Bowman, 85, of Washington Township, passed away peacefully at home on September 25, 2010.
Born: in Bowerstown, NJ on February 28, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Michael Walsh and Belle Lockhart.
Personal: She was a lifelong resident of Washington, where she was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Washington High School, class of 1943. Betty enjoyed bowling, Bunko, gardening, filling the birdfeeders and communing with nature. Memberships: She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Washington.
Survivors: her husband of 62 years, Richard Bowman; four daughters, Cynthia and her husband Michael Wasilak of Easton, PA, Christina and her husband Raymond Sylstra of Boulder City, NV, JoAnn Bowman of Dover, NJ, and Jeannnette and her husband Matthew Drewes of Orlando, FL; sister, Jean Packard of Easton, PA; two brothers, Michael Walsh, Jr. of Dayton, OH, and James Walsh of Vancouver, WA; eight grandchildren, Douglas, Brian, Becky, Scott, Jason, Ryan, Ashley and Kyle; two great-grandchildren, Haley and Bryce. She was predeceased by a sister, Marie Willever.
