Obituary of Edward G. McGuire

Edward G. McGuire, 61, of Washington, died on October 17, 2009 , in kindred Hospital, Dover. Born: November 11, 19 47, in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late George and Dorothy McGuire. Personal: He previously lived in Belvidere, Roselle Park. Edward was a Business consultant for Micro Business Associates in Whitehouse, NJ, for 26 years. Earlier in his life he worked for Chubb and Sons. Edward graduated from Roselle Catholic HS. He also attended Kings College and Kane University. He served proudly in the Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed golf, Bowling, Fishing and the company of his friends in the community. He also volunteered his time with the Boy Scouts Memberships: Edward was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Belvidere. Edward was a member of the American Legion post 131 in Belvidere. Survivors: His loving wife of 36 years Elaine; three sons, Brian McGuire of Oldsmar, FL, Kevin McGuire of Pen Argyl, PA, and Daniel McGuire of Belvidere; two brothers, Peter McGuire of Florida and Charles McGuire of Georgia; two sisters, Eileen Blum of Elizabeth, NJ and Mary Renner of Chalfont, PA. Services: Visitation will be Wednesday, October 21, 2009 , from 4 to 6 p.m., at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 22, 2009 , at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
