Obituary of Katherine E Lestuck

Katherine E. Lestuck, 88, of Belvidere, NJ, passed away on June 10, 2008 peacefully at Warren Hospital. Born: On January 30, 1920 in Perth Amboy, NJ, Katherine was a daughter of the late John and Theresa Kerly. Personal: Katherine's loving husband, John, died in 1990. A previous resident of Fords, NJ, she had resided in the Brookfield section of Belvidere for the last six years. Katherine retired in 1983 after 35 years of service as a seamstress for the Lafayette Dress Company, Perth Amboy. She loved to cook and was well known for her banana bread. She also enjoyed sewing. Memberships: Katherine was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Washington, NJ. She was also a member of the United Ladies Garment Workers Union. Survivors: Katherine is survived by a daughter, Joyce Rock of the Brookfield section of Belvidere; a brother, Edward Kerly and his wife, Marilyn of Fla.; two sisters, Mary Hartong and her husband Norman, and Rose Coanshock and her husband Frank, both of Whiting, NJ; three grandchildren, Kurt and his wife, Dawn, Karl and his wife, Rachel, Craig and his wife Cynthia, and six great-grandchildren, Kaitlin, Emily, Gillian, Abigail, Tanner, and Jake.Her sister, Theresa, a brother, John, and a son-in-law, John Rock, died earlier. Services: Visitation will be held on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ 07882. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 9:45 a.m. in the church, 200 Carlton Avenue, Washington, NJ 07882. The burial will be at the Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Perth Amboy.
