Rita must have been around 2 years old when her Mom and I thought she was with my mom at her house. We went crazy looking for her only to discover Rita was with a group of older kids trying to climb a tree wearing her cute little pink dress. Rita's artistic ability was evident at a very young age. I still have the drawings she made for me. Rita had a big heart for her family. She truly loved her nieces. They meant the world to her. Rita will be remembered by her love for her family, her warmth and kindness towards those she did not know and by her creative and artistic ability. I love you Rita, my beautiful daughter. Dad

Rita was always so welcoming and kind to my family and I. She was an excellent aunt to my daughter, Emma. I was always excited to hear the adventures and stories they shared. Rita love her nieces like they were her own, and taught them so many skills. The best memories I have are when Emma would tell me what they would create either through art or cuisine. Rita always went above and beyond for her nieces, especially on birthdays when she would create custom cakes. I will forever appreciate the love Rita gave to Emma. I thank her for being apart of Emma life and helping her to be the incredible lady she is growing up to become. Rita will be dearly missed.
