Obituary of Brian A Kinney
Brian A. Kinney, 67, originally from Oxford, NJ and a longtime resident of Belvidere, NJ passed away peacefully Sept. 10, 2024 in the comfort of his home.
Brian was a graduate of Warren Hills High School class of 1976. He worked in the maintenance department for Warren Haven Nursing Home for over 30 years before his retirement in 2015. Brian loved the New York Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys. But his main hobby was hunting. He enjoyed turkey hunting and deer hunting the most, with many years of experience. Brian was a huge Carrie Underwood fan and had the opportunity of seeing her perform live. He also very much enjoyed spending time with his only grandchild, his granddaughter Brianna, who was named after him.
He was a loving son, brother, uncle, father, grandfather and friend. He will be truly missed by so many. He always brought joy, happiness and laughter into a room, always smiling.
His biggest joy in life was his granddaughter, who was the apple of his eye.
Brian also leaves behind his loving daughter, Samantha Smith (Robert Smith Jr.), his siblings; Benjamin C. Kinney (Michele), Brenda Brockmann (Eric), Joseph M. Kinney (Clara) and Patrick Kinney (Jo Raye). He will also be missed by his many cherished nieces and nephews and his dear friend, Stephanie Kruse.
Brian is predeceased by his parents, Benjamin F. Kinney and Jacqueline Kinney nee. Delaney. He is also preceded in death by his brother, William Kinney and his sister, Beverley Marason.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Brian's name to Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice at www.karenannquinlanhospice.org/donate-support/
