Jim Sr. was a great man, who surely loved his family. We always enjoyed talking with him during holidays at Jim and Lisa's, and will miss his stories and sense of humor.

Dear Karen and Jim,
I am so sad about the passing of your Dad. He was such a sweet man. Of course I’ve only known him later in life, but I loved what I saw. And both Bill and I enjoyed talking to him at family events. Well, before I knew it, having had some health issues, I was surprised to find myself added to his calling list! So I always knew what day it was because the phone would ring between 8:00 & 9:00 a.m., and this cheery voice would come through: “ Hi Jo! This is South Carolina calling! “
Let me tell you, no matter how gloomy the weather might be that particular day, he ALWAYS put me in a good mood with his happy voice!
I will definitely miss his phone calls, but I guess God thought it was time for Jim to be reunited with your Mom, the love of his life. So all I can say is :
“ Hi Jim! This is HEAVEN calling! “
May Jim rest in peace.
All our love, Jo & Bill Turkowski
