Obituary of George Howard Bryan Sr.

George Howard Bryan Sr., 74, of Hampton, NJ passed away peacefully on May 19, 2024 at Hunterdon Medical Center. George was born on March 16, 1950 in Phillipsburg, NJ to the late George T. and Marjorie "Tomson" Bryan. He graduated from Warren Hills High School class of 1968. George was employed with the Franklin & Bethlehem Township Road Departments, for more than 18 years until his retirement in 2016. George enjoyed farming on his family farm in Broadway, NJ. After his retirement he became a full-time farmer in Hampton, NJ. He was longtime follower of NASCAR and fan of NFL football. George is survived by his longtime companion, Nancy McGrath; his children, Joshua Bryan (Rebecca); and George H. Bryan Jr. a sister, Joyce Shauger; 2 grandchildren, Catherine, and Robert. George was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert T. Bryan, and John D. Bryan. A graveside service celebrating George's life will be held on Thursday May 23, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Musconetcong Valley Cemetery in Hampton, NJ.
