Obituary of Michael D. Barletto

Michael D. Barletto, 80, of the Brookfield section of Belvidere, NJ passed away suddenly on April 20, 2024 at his home. Michael was born on May 8, 1943 on Staten Island, NY to the late Anthony T. and Lucy "Dellaventura" Barletto. He grew up on Staten Island and graduated from Port Richmond High School, class of 1961. Michael attended Staten Island College for training in electrical and computers. He married his soulmate Meg Stewart in 1984. They lived in Mendham, NJ for many years before moving to Belvidere in 2022. Michael was employed as a Computer Systems Engineer for Warner Lambert for more than 35 years before his retirement in 1996. Michael was very talented in the kitchen and he loved to cook for his family. He was also a champion shooter. Winning awards in skeet shooting, sporting clays and pistol shooting. He also enjoyed antique cars and archery. In addition to his loving wife Meg Barletto, Michael is survived by his children, Gregory Barletto and Helen Carey and son-in-law Steve Carey; a sister Margaret Anne Payne and 2 grandchildren, Daliana and Michael. Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday April 27, 2024 from 4-6 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. A funeral service celebration Michael's life will be held at 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
