My condolences to your family. Mr. Faust was not only a great educator, he was a great person as well. He was genuinely interested in his students as people, and it showed. He was always quick with a joke or a smile, but also serious about his craft. I cannot say enough good things about him. He literally changed my educational course in 6th grade. I disliked school and his influence transformed me into a lifelong learner. Great educators have that impact on their students. I am grateful he was part of my life. PS. His baby picture in the 1984 yearbook is PRICELESS. ❤️

So many wonderful, long lasting memories from the Boston and DC school field trips he sponsored. It’s been almost 30 years since those trips for me and I still tell stories about those trips to this day. The one story I still bring up yearly is how we the students begggggged to be allowed to wear shorts, even though it was only going to be 59° and the rule was it had to be warmer than 65°. He finally said, “ok yes” on the last day and we were so excited! I laugh now because as a current Florida resident, I stay bundled up in winter clothes until it’s above 82°. ( GT/AT field trips of 1997 and 1998)

By far one of my favorite teachers. I would actually go to school early to hang out in his classroom. I was actually able to reconnect with him and he met my children when he lived next store to a friend of mine. My condolences to his family, I am sure he will be greatly missed.

Mrs Faust. I am so deeply sorry to hear about Ed’s passing. It was so nice seeing you at Rite Aid about a month ago. It was so nice being an assistant scoutmaster along with Ed, he was a true scout leader, I learned so much from him. He is truly a wonderful man dedicated to whatever he does. I thank Ed for all he did to help our two sons, Joseph and Ryan, to reach the rank of Eagle Scout. My whole family have been touched by your grace. May God the Father welcome you into his loving arms and comfort your family at this time. Condolences to Mrs Faust and your loving family

I'm so sorry for your loss. Mr Faust was an amazing man I learned a lot from him over the years. I was a student of his at Von E Mauger and one of the men he guided to Eagle Scout. I will always remember scout camp with him n how he pushed everyone to be the best they could be n never gave up. Thank You for him and sharing his knowledge with so many people. He will be missed greatly by many. Thoughts n Prayers to you all.
