Patti and the Simmons Family, We are so sorry for the loss of Eric. I met Eric over 20 years ago when Patti and he started dating. He became a great friend to my family our Children loved him, and called him Uncle Eric. Such a huge loss! Leslieann, Gianna, Jared, Angela and I will miss him deeply. Eric, May the heavenly winds put you at Peace. All your pains and worries Ceased. As, we say our good byes, Tears flowing from our eyes. Please save us a place in the beachfront of the Skies! Patty and all: I was shocked and so very sorry to hear of Eric's passing. Countless times Eric and I painted the various towns on the European ski trips drinking and carrying on with the locals and others we would meet. I will miss that smile and his infectious laugh the most. I could always count on him to brighten my day. You will be greatly missed, my friend. Love Joey D.
