OMG! SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THIS SAD NEWS. PRAYERS TO STEVE SR, TERRY, AND THE ENTIRE MALANGA FAMILY. STEVEN WAS AN IMPORTANT PLAYER (PITCHER), ON MY TOWNSHIP LITTLE LEAGUE TEAM IN 1989 WHERE WE MADE THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME, BUT LOST. HE WAS CLOSE FRIENDS WITH MY OWN SON, ED, ALSO A TEAMMATE OF STEVE'S IN LITTLE LEAGUE. I RECALL A GREAT YANKEE GAME THAT STEVE SR. TOOK THE BOYS AND MYSELF TO AT YANKEE STADIUM,THAT GAME WENT INTO EXTRA INNINGS AND THE BOYS' FAVORITE PLAYER, (DON MATTINGLY) WALKED OFF A DINGER IN THE BOTTOM OF THE 11TH!! GREAT TIMES AND MEMORIES! R.I.P. STEVEN, PRAYERS ALWAYS!.... ED & THERESA NOVAK
