Obituary of Carmen R Krueger

Carmen R. Krueger, 92 of the Brookfield section of Belvidere, NJ passed away peacefully on December 28, 2023 at St. Luke's Bethlehem campus surrounded by her family. Carmen was born on December 4, 1931 in Nuttallburg, WV to the late Eloy and Sadie "Rice" Rodgers. Carmen was previously of South Orange, NJ before moving to Belvidere in 2000. Carmen had a long career as a legal secretary at the law firm of Okin and Okin in Newark, NJ. Her loving husband of 56 years, Robert passed away in 2016. She was a member of the Belvidere United Methodist Church. Carmen was an avid reader who loved to travel. She cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Carmen is survived by her sons, David Krueger and his wife Patti of Blairstown and Richard Krueger and his wife Marcia Abbott of Sarasota, FL. She is also survived by her sister Rosemary King and her beloved grandchildren, Clayton, Ryan and Megan; along with many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, Carmen was predeceased by her sister Patricia Herring and brother Daniel Rodgers. Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday January 13, 2024 from 10AM – 11AM at the Belvidere United Methodist Church, 219 Hardwick St, Belvidere, NJ 07823. A Memorial service celebrating Carmen's life will begin at 11:00 AM at the church. Interment will follow at Belvidere Cemetery. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Warren Hills Memorial Home.
