Sending love to all my cousins on the passing of Howie. He was a good man. I will always remember that he gave me my first aluminum bat in little league. That little blue bat hit a lot of dingers thanks to you Howie. I will always remember your laugh and smile. You were one of the good ones. Now you get a seat at that card table in the sky. Tell your mom and dad, Len , my father, mother, Steve and Ann that we miss them and think of them often.

26 years ago Howie and I became a family of 8. It wasn't always easy blending 2 sons and 4 daughters but over the last few days as I listened to the stories and memories from our kids, I realize we did okay, which was mainly due to you. You were the stability we needed, the voice of reason, the laughter, the patience, the calm during the storm. You were always a great father to your sons, but then you became a great father to my daughters. We will always be grateful to you for that. They all love you so much, sometimes the girls even loved you more than they loved me. I will always remember when they were little I wanted to take them all on vacation and you said we can't do that, I insisted we could and we piled them all in the car and drove to Hilton Head and had sooo much fun. Then they started to marry and those moments gave us so many more memories. Then they all eventually moved out on their own and you always took it in stride when I said countless times "we can do this" when one of the kids needed help with moving or a home improvement project. Then we had grandchildren and you loved them so much, and each one of them loved you so much. We promise to keep you alive in their hearts and to always share with them that you loved them so much. You left us too soon, there are so many more memories to be made, and we all love and miss you so much!

Uncle Howie was a man unlike any other. His goofy whistle, his kindness, his silly jokes that you couldn't help but laugh at. He surely was one of a kind. He will be missed so much. We love you, always.
