Obituary of Andrew M Jerzak
Andrew Michael Jerzak, age 36, of Pottstown, PA and formerly of Mansfield, PA, passed away after a short illness on September 12, 2023, at St Luke's Hospital Warren Campus in Phillipsburg, NJ. surrounded by family. He was born on March 31, 1987, in Hackettstown, NJ. to Mike and Ginger (Brewster) Jerzak, currently of Washington, NJ.
Andy enjoyed sports, especially basketball, classic car shows, and music. He truly enjoyed being with family, especially his nephew and niece, Josiah & Norah who affectionately call him Uncle Wee. When Andy and his sisters were together, they entertained the rest of the family. He also leaves behind his beloved cat, Stella.
Andrew is survived by his parents, Mike & Ginger Jerzak of Washington, NJ, siblings, Sarah Jerzak of Carson City, NV, Emily (Jim) Goins of Columbus, GA, Amanda Jerzak of Carson City, NV, Timothy (Amy) Jerzak of Mansfield, PA, and Alli Jerzak of Washington, NJ. nephew Josiah Goins and niece Norah Goins, both of Columbus, GA. and his girlfriend and companion, Amanda Weiss of Pottstown, PA. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Rose Marie Brewster of Washington NJ. and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, William Brewster, Washington NJ, paternal grandparents Francis and Leonore Jerzak, both formerly of Phillipsburg NJ & Mansfield, PA. and his Aunt Beverley (Jerzak) Gilder, Mansfield, PA.
Andrew's family is sincerely grateful for the many individuals and teams that took such great care of him in his last days, particularly the Washington Emergency Squad and St Luke's Warren Campus ER and ICU staff. Your professionalism and skills were only outdone by your kindness during this most difficult time. We are also thankful for the many individuals and churches around the country that have prayed in our greatest time of need, and for the concern and outpouring of support from family and friends.
Andrew preferred there would be no services.
