Obituary of Jeanne V. Miller

Jeanne “Jean” Miller, 95, of Old Bridge, NJ passed away peacefully on August 6, 2023 at the Lopatcong Care center. Jean was born on June 23, 1928 in Tremont, PA to the late John and Valeria “Hoy” Scheibley. She grew up in Tremont and moved to New Jersey in 1955. She was employed with Quaker Oats, Westinghouse, Decorated Metal, and Park Packaging where she retired in 1990. Jean was of Methodist faith. She was an avid reader. She enjoyed painting, needlework, sewing and going to bingo. She loved spending time with her family and pushing them out the door; she had quite the humor. She was loved by all her family and friends. Jean is survived by her daughter, Sherry Kady and her husband Joe; a sister, Sandra Barr also a niece Stephanie Davis and her husband Craig along with their children.; 4 grandchildren Joe Kady 4, his wife Malissa, Melissa Kady, Lindsey Peterson and her husband Brian and David Miller Jr, 4 great grandchildren, Ronald Shawiak 3rd, Devin Peterson, Emily Kady and Sawyer Peterson. Jean was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Albert J. Miller Sr., her son Albert J. Miller Jr., David G. Miller Sr., a brother, John E. Scheibley. Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday August 9, 2023 from 12-2 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. A funeral service celebrating Jean’s life will begin at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be held privately at Shoreland Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Hazlet, NJ.
