Obituary of Noori Tersigni

"Noori Tersigni" of Washington, was called Home to be with God on July 26, 2023. Noori was born to Syed & Agnes Chowdhury. She was raised in East Brooklyn, NY where she attended parochial and public schools and worked at Lutheran Hospital in the Nursery. Noori retired from American Can, as the Floor Lady. Noori married the love of her life, Richard Tersigni. Their union was blessed with a daughter, Debora. Throughout her life, Noori found pleasure in spending quality time with her family and friends, traveling, cooking curry, baking, arts and crafts, attending services at Mt Pisgah AME with her late sister-in-law, watching Westerns, listening to music and bargain shopping. She was given a green thumb and used her gift on her countless flowers and plants. Noori is survived by her brother Maznu Chowdhury; two beloved nieces: Mrs. Tauneah Wilson and Tauneah's daughter Cheyenne, whom she affectionately called "her girl". Services are private. "
