Obituary of Beacher Crisp Sr.

Beacher Crisp Sr., 82, of Columbia, NJ passed away peacefully on July 6, 2023 at Hackettstown Community Hospital. Beacher was born on April 9, 1941 in Robbinsville, NC to the late Noah and Nora "Bailey" Crisp. Beacher grew up in Robbinsville before moving to New Jersey in the 1960s. He was employed as a Union Driller for more than 30 years before retiring in 1991. He was a very talented pool player, he also enjoyed fishing in his spare time. Beacher is survived by a son, Beacher Crisp Jr and his mother Jodi Hartrum; brothers, Dennis Crisp and Ralph Crisp; Beacher was preceded in life by his siblings, Bessie Williams, Myrtle Crisp, Henry Crisp, Eddie Crisp and Herbert Crisp. Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday July 12, 2023 from 10 AM – 12 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. A funeral service celebrating Beacher's life will begin at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Oxford, NJ.
