Obituary of Richard J Domanski

Richard J. Domanski, 75, of Washington, NJ passed away on July 2, 2023 at St. Luke's Warren Hospital. Richard was born in Linz, Austria to the late Rudolph and Hedwig "Zerweiss" Domanski. Richard and his family immigrated to the United Stated in 1952. They settled in Akron, OH. Richard graduated from St. Vincent High School class of 1966. He earned a degree in business from the University of Akron. He served proudly in the US Army. Richard married his loving wife Mary "Polovick" in 1970. After college Richard was employed as a Human Resource manager by General Tire in Waco, TX and Bryan, OH before moving to NJ to work for Frito Lay and Nabisco. He was then recruited by ADP where he spent the majority of his career in Human Resources as a Divisional Vice President. Richard was an Ohio State fan and enjoyed watching College football and basketball. He was an avid golfer and a member of Hawk Pointe Golf Club. Richard was a very loving, caring and thoughtful man with a fun sense of humor. He was dedicated to his family. Family meant everything to him. In addition to his loving wife Mary of 53 years, Richard is survived by a daughter, Justine Damiano and her husband Vincent; son, Erik Domanski and his wife Patricia and grandson Michael Wade Domanski; and sister, Margaret Aitken and her husband Jim and their children Erika and Zach. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday August 7, 2023 at 10:30 AM at St. Theodore Roman Catholic Church. 855 State Hwy Route 57. Port Murray, NJ 07865. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Richard's name to Common Sense for Animals (a local no kill animal shelter) or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
