Obituary of Tamula L Schafer-Heckman-Sheets

Tammy L. Schafer-Heckman-Sheets, 56, of Bangor, PA passed away in the early morning hours on May 2, 2023 at St Luke's Easton Hospital with loved ones by her side. Tammy was born on December 26, 1966 in Phillipsburg, NJ to Gloria J. Schafer and the late John L. Schafer Sr. She was a graduate of Warren Hills High School class of 1985. She enjoyed crocheting, loved camping and to travel. She has traveled to every U.S. state besides Alaska. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, who she cherished dearly, and hosted holiday meals and summer picnics for often. Tammy is survived by her mother, Gloria Schafer, her husband of 22 years, Kevin Sheets, her daughter Bethany Lilly, her four grandchildren, Adelina, Evan, Rowan, and Emelia; a nephew, David Schafer, of Florida; an aunt Rose Schriner, of Easton, PA; an aunt Dawn Alvarado, of Bangor, PA; an aunt Roxanna Campbell, of Georgia; an uncle Barry Dilts, of Hampton, NJ; uncles Warren Dilts, Jack Dilts,and Richard Blum, all of Bangor, PA; an uncle Robert Dilts, of Minnesota; an uncle Carl Schafer Jr, of Florida; an uncle Larry Schafer, of Tennessee; a god daughter Savannah Bossert, of Phillipsburg, NJ and many cousins and friends. In addition to her father, she is predeceased by her brother, John Schafer Jr. and her aunts; Darlene Smolenski and Rhodalyn Berardi.
