Obituary of Helen R Gardner

Helen R. Gardner, 87, of Washington, NJ passed away on October 16, 2022 at St. Luke's Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ. Helen was born on July 11, 1935 in the Bronx, NY to the late John and Katherine Hayes. She was a graduate of Washington High School class of 1953. Helen worked for many years at Hagedorn Psychiatric Center in Glen Gardner, NJ. Helen is survived by her loving daughter, Donna Gardner, siblings; Theresa Herbert and Robert Hayes and many beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Helen is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jay Gardner who passed in 2007, and her siblings Margaret Hayes, Catherine Davie and Daniel Hayes. A graveside inurnment service will take place on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Pequest Union Cemetery in Great Meadows, NJ. Cremation was held privately.
