Obituary of Vincent Fortunato Jr.

Vincent Fortunato Jr., 65, of Stewartsville, NJ and previously of Mansfield Twp., NJ passed away on July28, 2022 at home with loved ones by his side. Vincent was born on June 6, 1957 in Newark, NJ to Margaret "Pat" Hennessey the late Vincent Fortunato Sr. He worked as a boiler operator in Caldwell, NJ with the Local 68. He also spent time as a delivery driver for Coca- Cola. Vincent enjoyed playing poker and fishing in his spare time and he was a avid NY Mets and NY Giants fan. He also loved to watch western movies, and was known to enjoy a good cigar from time to time. Vincent is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Joann, their children; Deanna Jenkins (Brendan Imes), Andrea Linepensel (Robert), Caitlyn Kocher (Marvin), Carrie Fortunato, and Vincent Fortunato III, grandchildren; Gavin, Adilynn, Evelynn, Brynlee, Jacob, and Taylor. He also leaves behind his mother; Margaret "Pat" Hennessey, siblings; Karen Nelson (Rick), Doreen Pazumus (Pete) James Fortunato (Geri), John Fortunato (Christine), Frank Fortunato (Stephanie), Lynn Hackett (Tom) and Joseph Fortunato. Vincent is preceded in death by his Father, Vincent, Stepfather, Al Fantuzzi, and a stepson, Matthew Briscese. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, August 5, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home at 3:30 PM. Cremation will be held privately.
