Obituary of Joseph P Kadash

Joseph P. Kadash, 64, of Asbury, NJ passed away on February 16, 2022 at St. Luke's Warren Hospital. Joe was born on September 1, 1957 in Perth Amboy, NJ to Mary (Paez) Kadash and the late William Kadash. They lived in Fords before moving to Hopelawn. Joe graduated from Woodbridge High School in 1975. He was a member of the Hopelawn First Aid Squad, which led to his desire to become an EMT and then an MICU Paramedic. He worked in Mercer and Monmouth counties, but his favorite job was with the team at Englishtown's Raceway Park. Joe later started a career in IT as a systems administrator/network technician. Joe enjoyed woodworking and crafted custom furniture for family and friends with his cousin Gary. He was also into sports. He was a goalie on his college ice hockey team and was a big fan of the NY Rangers. He was a long-time attendee (50+ years) at the Indy 500 and was a proud owner of a piece of the original brickyard. In 1985 Joe married Michele Deak, whom he met on the First Aid Squad. They lived in the Pine Barrens of South Jersey before moving to Asbury in 1998. He cultivated large gardens at both homes. He was a Boy Scout leader and an assistant coach for his son's travel soccer team. He was a member of the NRA and a proud supporter of our military servicemen and women. Joe is survived by Michele, his loving wife of 36 years; daughter, Allyson Lynch; son, Steven Kadash; his beloved mother, Mary Kadash; sisters Gail Kadash, Susan Kadash Hinkle, and Judy Kadash; nephews Brendan and Colin; niece, Zoie; and great nephew, Tyler. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday February 22, 2022 from 5-7 PM and again on Wednesday February 23, 2022 from 10-11 AM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington, NJ 07882. A funeral service celebrating Joseph's life will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
