Obituary of Lois J Sarson

Lois Jean Sarson, 88, of Lopatcong Township, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, November 19, 2021. She was formerly of Washington and Harmony, NJ. Lois was born to the late Harry Miller and S. Elizabeth "Meyers" Fenstemaker on June 13, 1933. Lois is predeceased by her parents and her beloved cat, Sweetie Jean. She is survived by her loving children; Rick Sarson and his wife Pilar, Willard Sarson, Jr., Barbara Kaiser, and James Sarson and his wife Carole Ann. She was the proud grandmother to Ellie, Ricky, Sarah, Willie, Jake, Alyssa, Owen, and Jeremy. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren. Lois was a member of the Washington High School Class of 1951, and fondly remembered her time as head majorette. After school, she spent time traveling the country as a military spouse, and later worked for American National Can Company until her retirement in 1993. Lois enjoyed playing card games, and especially treasured her trips to Las Vegas and Atlantic City, loved cheering on the Yankees; specifically, Derek Jeter, and spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her warm smile, sense of humor, and her strong, feisty spirit. Graveside services will be privately held at Hays Cemetery in Easton, PA.
