Obituary of Maryann Milewski
Maryann Milewski, 88, reunited with her husband John L. Milewski in eternal rest on November 4, 2021.
Maryann was born on December 24, 1932 in Jersey City, NJ to the late John and Ernestine "Pini" Baratto. She graduated from Washington High School class of 1951. After graduating High School she worked at Tung-Sol in Washington NJ. She married her loving husband John in 1956. After having her first child she was a home maker until her last daughter started school. She then started working at Shoprite in Washington and she eventually retired as Bakery Manager at Shoprite in Chester. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was strong and very high spirited person who's entire life was dedicated to her family. Maryann enjoyed everything about family gatherings including holidays and any anytime we were all together. She loved all her family unconditionally and was extremely overjoyed with the births of her grandsons and great grandchildren, they were her world. She was a loving wife, mom, mom mom, great mom mom, sister and friend. She taught us to be strong and independent. She enjoyed book and craft club with her friends at Blue Mountain Lake, baking and gardening but most overall it was family.
Maryann is survived by her daughters, Margaret Gauntt and her husband Philip, Maryann Milewski and Stephanie Pieper; a grandson Victor Pieper and his wife Shannon; sisters, Betty Shernce and her husband Rich and Ann Rollo and her husband Fred; great grandchildren Damian, Christina, Jonathan, Abigail and Ashton. Maryann was preceded in death by loving husband John on November 1, 2021, her grandson Corey Anton Brunner and sisters, Judy Cook and Joan Simard.
A Memorial Mass of Catholic burial will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 200 Carlton Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. Inurnment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery. 830 Highland Rd, Newtown, PA 18940.
