Obituary of Shirley Beers

Shirley J. Beers, 74, of Mount Bethel, PA passed away on October 16, 2021 at St Lukes Monroe Campus Hospital. Shirley was born on December 22, 1946 in Easton, PA to the late Walter and Marion "Fowler" Harrison. She graduated from Washington High School class of 1964. Shirley had formally lived in Oxford and Stewartsville, NJ before moving to Mount Bethel in 1997. She was employed by Agway Fuel Oil in Washington before her retirement in 2011. She was a past member of the Oxford Second Presbyterian Church. Shirley loved going to the car shows at the Trolley Station. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Ocean City, MD, Lancaster, PA and Daytona FL. She enjoyed going to yard sales and estate sales and selling her treasures on Facebook Market Place. Shirley loved animals. Shirley is survived by her loving husband Howard Beers; daughters, Lori Barnes and her significant other Pete, Lisa Wojaczyk and her husband Keith; A son David Yale and his wife Sherry; Brothers, Thomas Harrison and his wife Carol, Randy Harrison and Bruce Harrison and his significant other Holly; 4 grandchildren Chalee, Cody, Jayden and Alison; nieces and nephews Heather, Tucker, Jillian, Kristy and Jason. Shirley was preceded in death by a brother Bryan Harrison, Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday October 20, 2021 from 10 AM – 12 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ. A funeral service celebrating Shirley's life will be held at 12:00 PM at the funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Oxford, NJ.
