Obituary of June L Ferry
June L. Ferry, 91, of Washington, NJ passed away peacefully on July 20, 2021 at Lopatcong Care Center, Phillipsburg, NJ.
June was born on March 3, 1930 in Annapolis, Maryland to the late Charles and Rose Logan. She had an older brother Charles Logan Jr.
June graduated from Annapolis High School in 1947. She also had a degree from the Maryland Institute of Art.
She married John (Jack) Ferry in 1952 and raised five loving children.
She was highly creative and was "famous" for her baking skills especially her beautifully decorated Christmas cookies. She was known for her sense of humor and her amazing trivia skills. She collected political buttons, coins, and anything Dick Butkus!
She was an Administrative Assistant as a long-time employee of Mobil Chemical Company. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John (Jack) Ferry and her son Stephen Ferry.
She is survived by her children Blair Hysong, Bridget Tomlinson and her husband Roy Tomlinson, Michael Ferry and his wife Jean Ferry, John Ferry and daughter-in-law Lorraine Ferry; Grandchildren Sean, Matthew, Dan, John, David and Michael; and nephews Ed Ferry and his wife Sue and Peter Ferry and their respective children.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's disease.
Family and friends can gather for a memorial visitation on Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 1:00-3:00 PM at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. Burial will be held on Monday, August 9, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Washington Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Hill Road, Washington, NJ 07882.
