Obituary of LilianneM. Hougas

Lilianne M. Hougas, 59, of Stroudsburg, PA, passed away peacefully March 8, 2010 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. Born: in L'epiphanie Quebec, Canada on June 21, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Roland and Marie Gagne. Personal: She lived in Stroudsburg for 13 years, she formerly lived in Great Meadows and Washington. Lilianne was a Life Sharing Provider, working for Fitzmaurice Community Services in Stroudsburg. Lilianne graduated from Boonton High School class of 1968. Lilianne loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading. Memberships: She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Washington. She belonged to the Fitzmaurice Community Service. Survivors: her loving husband of 40 years Jerry; two daughters, Tammy Dell of Saylorsburg, PA, Laura Moore and her husband Matthew of Hackettstown, NJ; a son, Jon Hougas of Stroudsburg; two brothers, Pierre and Claude Gagne; four sisters, Gisele L'Ecuyer, Lucille Chapman, Nicole Nesbit and Mireille Roque; four grandchildren, Daniel, Joseph, Kristie and Sarah. She was predeceased by a son Daniel in 1983, and brothers Andre, Mario, Gilles and Denis. Services: Visitation will be Friday March 12, 2010, 4 to 8 p.m. at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave, Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral services will be Saturday March 13, 2010, at 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial with Fr. Blaise Baran officiating, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, 200 Carlton Ave, Washington, NJ 07882. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Washington, NJ. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234. W. Washington, Ave. Washington, NJ 07882.
