Obituary of Joseph W Moon

Joseph W. Moon Jr., 38, a lifelong resident of Washington, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on December 2, 2020 at St. Luke's Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg, NJ. Joseph was born on February 28, 1982 at Hackettstown Hospital to Joseph and Tammie Moon. Joseph was a graduate from Warren Hills High School. He worked many years as a marble and granite countertop maker, and most recently worked for the Phillipsburg Marble Company. Joseph enjoyed spending his spare time fishing and golfing. He is survived by his parents, Joseph and Tammie Moon of Washington, NJ. Joseph is also survived by his grandmother, Patricia Moon and his Uncles, Thomas Hart and his wife Chandelle and David Moon and Thomas Moon. He also leaves behind his Aunts, Charlene Lehman and her husband Eric and Karen Harms and her husband Ron. In addition, he leaves behind his great uncle, Ronald Collins and his cousins, Amanda Collins, Robert Moon, Erica Harms, Thomas Hart Jr., and Nathaniel Hart. Joseph is predeceased by his grandparents, Robert Moon, Charles and Roberta Smith, and Robert Collins. He is also preceded in death by his uncle, James Moon. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Joseph's name to St. Luke's Hospital- Warren Campus, 185 Roseberry Street, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865. Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday, December 7, 2020 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882, (908)-689-0119. Cremation will be held privately. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Warren Hills Memorial Home.
