Sorry to hear of the passing of Leo. Great friend with huge heart. Remember little things like sitting at his kitchen table and having a drink, or two, maybe a few more. Remember him carrying a pocket of silver dollars and him giving it two many children in the neighborhood- my children having quite a few- boy they loved him. Always a smile as he looked and greeted me by saying "hello senior". Leo- we will all miss you- Dennis

I thank God for giving me the blessing of having an uncle as loving and compassionate as he was. Having him was having a piece of my mom. He resembled her in so many ways. They both had so much love to give everyone. I always made him laugh saying my silly jokes even an hour before he passed. In all my pictures I look for his smile. I will always remember him and he will always be in my heart. And like I told him I will see him in heaven. Love you

Bill and I will always remember our wonderful friend, Leo. Leo was so much more than a freind, he was someone who loved life, and truly cared about his family and friends. His smile was contagious and his enthusisam for life was unmistakeable. We remember all those precious moments, as spending time with him was always joy-filled. His generousity was unmatched and his compassion for others revealed itself in many ways. Leo was a proud yet humble man, who respected all and worked endlessly to bring joy to others. He gave of himself freely. We will truly miss our dear friend, and pray that all those who loved him will be comforted by knowing that God is walking with him, and He will walk with all of us who will always love and miss Leo.
With Love, Bill & Betsy

Leo had such a big heart and was so caring. I loved sitting with him at the VFW enjoying our great conversations. It was always so fun to run into him at the casino. We would always have lunch when we would run into each other. Rest well my special friend.
Till we meet again.

Leo was one of the most kind, caring, and generous individuals I have ever known. His commitment to his family, loyalty to his friends and his compassion for those who were less fortunate, are character traits that all of us strive to replicate. His work ethic was unmatched only by his determination to see things were completed properly and to everyone’s satisfaction.
Leo will continue live in the memories of all of us.
His warm smile, gentle manner, sense of humor, and concern for others will be his legacy that many of will never forget.

What can I say about my uncle. He was honest, cared not only for his family but but for everyone around him. He had a heart of gold. He had a good sense of humor. Always wanted to know if you had eaten. Just a kind soul. Never complained about anything. Always great full for another day.I am great full for the time we shared. I will miss him and I know he is resting in peace . Farewell my King Farouk. (When he entered his room he became King and sat on his comfy throne.) RIP Love you always, Maria
