Obituary of Josephine Ann Schettino

Josephine Ann Schettino, 99, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2020, at Forest Manor Nursing Home in Hope, NJ. Josephine was born on March 14, 1921 in Newark, NJ to the late Antonio and Maria Santangelo. Josephine attended Barringer High School class of 1939. She had lived previously in Fanwood and Belvidere, NJ. Her loving husband John J. Schettino passed away in 1998. She is the last of eight children in her family. Josephine was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing and cooking. She also volunteered her time with the Warren County Nutrition Center. Above all she loved taking care of her family and cherished time spent with them. She is survived by her caring daughters, Janet Sully and her husband John, and Judith DeCicco and her husband James. Her grandson Nicholaus Noto and his wife Larissa, and their three children; Tyson, Gavin, and Logan. Her granddaughter Jessica Tanner and her husband Stephen, and their three children; Cameron, Aubrey, and Quinn. Her granddaughter Jillian Varamo and her husband Nick. Due to public gathering restrictions, a private service will be held for the immediate family.
