Obituary of Marie L. Hartmann
Marie L. Hartmann 64 of Washington formally of North Plainfield passed away peacefully at Warren Hospital on May 16, 2013.
Born: on November 2, 1948 to the late Anthony Meleo and Grace Meleo in Plainfield NJ.
Personal: She graduated from North Plainfield high school class of 1966, Marie earned her Bachelor's degree in education from Monmouth University. Marie retired in 2002 as a school teacher working for Sts. Philip & James Catholic school in Phillipsburg, she also taught at St. Mary's Catholic school in Plainfield and St. Joseph Academy in Washington. Marie was an avid reader. She enjoyed cooking and music. She especially loved spending time with her family.
Memberships: Marie was a devote Catholic and was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Washington where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and Lector. She taught RCIA and CCD, Marie also was a member of the St. Joseph Couples Club, Alter Rosary, Pre-Cana and the Outreach Ministry.
Survivors: She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years Edmund; a daughter Nicole O'Donnell and her husband Gerard; her Mother Grace Meleo; two brothers Richard Meleo and his wife Joann and Robert Meleo and his wife Patricia; three nephews and two nieces and her Cat Creamsicle.

Services: Friends and family may call on Monday May 20, 2013 from 12:00-3:00 PM & 6:00-9:00 PM at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave, Washington, NJ 07882 A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday May 21, 2013 at 10;30 AM with Fr. Blaise Baran officiating from St. Joseph Catholic Church, 200 Carlton Ave, Washington, NJ 07882. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains, NJ
