Obituary of Willard Lamont Sarson
Willard Lamont Sarson (Will), 88, of Palmer Twp., PA passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 11, 2020. He was born to the late William Sarson and Nellie (Hess) Sarson Beers on June 13, 1931 in Harmony, NJ.
Will graduated from Belvidere High School as part of the Class of 1949. He then went on to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Air Force, receiving an honorable discharge from both branches of service. Will retired from Mack Printing Company in Easton, PA after many years of service. Will had been very involved with the Mack Printing Employees Federal Credit Union during his working years, having served as both President and Treasurer. Will was a devoted Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. More than anything, Will cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Will is survived by his siblings; Ronald Sarson and his wife Rosalie, Vernon Sarson and his wife Donna, George Beers, and Bea Mackey. He was predeceased by his sister Doris Harris. He is also survived by his loving children; Rick Sarson and his wife Pilar, Willard Sarson, Jr., Barbara Kaiser, and James Sarson and his wife Carole Ann. He was the proud grandfather, "Pop-Pop," to Ellie, Ricky, Sarah, Willie, Jake, Alyssa, Owen and Jeremy. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
The family would also like to thank Cindy and Gloria for the friendship and comfort they provided to Will in keeping him in his home throughout his later years.
Memorial services will include a viewing on Thursday, January 16, 2020 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM and a funeral service on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W.
